GREETINGS FROM SURENDRA-CHARU FOUNDATION

Respected Elders and Friends,

I am Anamika Singha, daughter of Mr. Subhendu Singha and Mrs. Anita Singha, from Cachar district, Assam. I completed my M.A. in Sociology from Assam University in 2006. After that, I worked in the private sector and struggled hard to secure a government job. Although I did not succeed, I never lost hope.

In 2009, I got married, and in 2011, God blessed us with a daughter. At that time, I left my private sector job to look after her. In 2013, I cleared the Teacher Eligibility Test, but I did not get an appointment.

In 2014, I began my journey in social service. Since then, I have worked on various government projects and programs. I served as an Instructor under the Integrated Child Development Services, as a Counsellor in a Child Care Institute, and later as a Project Superintendent under the JJ Act.

I also worked in the Mental Illness Treatment Program in Assam, which focused on supporting toxic and vulnerable people in our society.

Along with this, I attended several government training programs, including sessions at the National Institute of Public Cooperation and Child Development.

My ambition has always been to serve vulnerable children. With this vision, I voluntarily started the Surendra-Charu Foundation for the welfare of vulnerable communities. Our NGO focuses on Education, Nutrition, Safe Drinking Water, Women Empowerment, and Elderly Literacy.

A Message From the Founder

Always be disciplined, dedicated, and passionate about your work. Every moment is an experience, and hard work always brings success. Hope is a walking dream.

Life is unpredictable, and no one is perfect, but honesty, responsibility, and care are the most important parts of a meaningful life. A smile is the best way to overcome pain, because no one truly sees how much you suffer.

Punctuality, honesty, responsibility, and discipline are the keys to success. Every day brings new learning. For me, work is my passion, my power, my energy, and my destination.
