Respected Elders and Friends,

I am Anamika Singha, daughter of Mr. Subhendu Singha and Mrs. Anita Singha, from Cachar district, Assam. I completed my M.A. in Sociology from Assam University in 2006. After working in the private sector and striving to secure a government job without success, I remained resilient and never lost hope.

In 2009, I married, and in 2011, I was blessed with a daughter. To care for her, I left my private sector job. In 2013, I cleared the Teacher Eligibility Test but did not secure an appointment. Undeterred, I turned my focus to social service in 2014, working on various government projects, including as an Instructor under the Integrated Child Development Services, a Counsellor in a Child Care Institute, and a Project Superintendent under the JJ Act.

I also contributed to the Mental Illness Treatment Program in Assam, supporting vulnerable and marginalized individuals in our society.

My commitment to growth led me to participate in several government training programs, including sessions at the National Institute of Public Cooperation and Child Development.

As the founder of the Surendra-Charu Foundation, I am driven by a passion to serve vulnerable children and empower communities. Our NGO focuses on Education, Nutrition, Safe Drinking Water, Women Empowerment, and Elderly Literacy. I believe in leading by example, with discipline, dedication, and passion as my guiding principles.

A Message From the Founder

Every moment is an opportunity to learn and grow. Hard work, paired with punctuality, honesty, responsibility, and discipline, is the foundation of success. Life is unpredictable, and perfection is unattainable, but honesty, responsibility, care, and compassion guide us toward a meaningful life. A smile can overcome even the greatest challenges, as it reflects resilience in the face of adversity.

For me, work is not just a passion but my power, energy, and destination. I am committed to this journey of service, learning, and growth, and I invite you to join us in making a difference for vulnerable communities.
